Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using SoloStay. These terms form a legally binding agreement between you and SoloStay Technologies Pvt. Ltd. By using our platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.
By accessing or using SoloStay ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. We may update these terms at any time; continued use constitutes acceptance.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use SoloStay. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@solostay.in if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
When you book a property on SoloStay, you enter into a direct agreement with the property owner. SoloStay facilitates this agreement but is not a party to it. All payments are processed securely via Razorpay. Prices displayed include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. SoloStay charges no brokerage fees to guests.
Cancellation policies vary by property and are clearly displayed on each listing before booking. As a general guideline: (a) Cancellations made more than 72 hours before check-in are eligible for a full refund of the platform fee. (b) Cancellations within 72 hours of check-in may incur a cancellation charge equivalent to one night's stay. (c) No-shows are non-refundable. Owners who cancel a confirmed booking will be penalised, and guests will receive a full refund.
Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method. Refunds for UPI payments may take up to 3 business days; for cards and net banking, 5–7 business days. If you have not received a refund within this period, contact us at hello@solostay.in with your booking ID.
Property owners are responsible for ensuring their listings are accurate, up to date, and legally compliant. Owners must complete KYC verification before listing. Owners must honour confirmed bookings. Misrepresentation, discrimination, or harassment of guests may result in immediate removal from the Platform.
Guests must respect the property and its rules. Guests are responsible for any damage caused during their stay. Guests must provide accurate personal information during booking. Fraudulent bookings or chargebacks without valid reason may result in account suspension.
You may not: use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings or reviews; scrape, copy, or resell any content from the Platform; attempt to circumvent our security systems; harass or discriminate against any user; or use the Platform to facilitate activities outside its intended purpose.
All content on SoloStay — including logos, design, text, and software — is owned by SoloStay Technologies Pvt. Ltd. or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce or use our content without prior written permission.
SoloStay is a marketplace platform. We do not own or manage any properties listed on the Platform. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SoloStay is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or from any booking made through it. Our total liability in any matter is limited to the amount you paid for the booking in question.
SoloStay provides a dispute resolution mechanism accessible from your Trips page. We will attempt to mediate disputes between guests and owners fairly. Our decision in disputes is final. Legal disputes shall be governed by the laws of India and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in New Delhi, India.
These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi, India.
